OBITUARY.

NEW PLYMOUTH, this day,
James Bellringer, one of the bestknown public men of Taranaki, died this morning of heart failure. He was for many years a Borough Councillor, four times Mayor, and was for longChairman of the Hospital Board, also a prominent Mason and Oddfellow.
