In response to innumerable applications for copies of the Royal number of the "Graphic," the publishers state that the entire issue was sold out on Saturday, and it is impossible to print a second edition. .The second Royal -.umber, containing among other special attractions an historical series of pictures of the Duke in Geyserland, and the great Maori gathering- will be published this week. Concerning the views obtained for this issue the publishers wish to state—in no spirit of "puffery"—that the facilities accorded the N.Z. "Graphic" enable them to obtain pictures unprocurable by any other ptiblication in the colonies. For the sake of thousands who failed to obtain " copies of the first Royal Number-~the enormous edition was exhausted in 36 hours—in the coming issue, will be. reprinted a few of last week's pictures, and the names of those present at the various functions.
