VICTORIA SCHOOL FOR MAORI GIRLS.

The secretary of tho Queen Victoria School for Maori Girls wishes it to be known that nine years is the limit of age for the little girls or boys who are to place purses with gold in them on the foundation stone when it is laid, and any little girls who are thought by their mothers to be old enough are old enough. Members of the committee will take charge of them in a spot very' near the stone, and go with them to lay down their purses,, then return with them to their places, and stay with them until their mothers come for them when the ceremony is at an end. Tickets will be given them at a rehearsal a day or two before the laying of the stone.
