The annual meeting of the St. John's Musical and Literary Society was held oti Monday eveningl. The annual report showed that the past year had ben n. very Bncr-ensfnl one. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: —President, the Rev. W. Ready; vice-presidents, 'Mrs \. J. Blomfielci, and Messrs R. Mortimer and R. A. Scott; secretary, Mr-R. H. Horsley; treasurer, Mr E. Reeves, lady editor, Miss R. Crisp, and Executive Committee, Misses 0. Blomfiftia, B. Tonkin, and Mrs Thorne, Messrs S. Scott, W. Bartley, F. Martin; Musical Committee, Misses E. Kemp, R. Crisp, B. Tonkin, and Mr S. Scott.
