The manager considers this a forerunner of v lode at no great distance ahead. The manganese lode should be to hand very shortly. HAHIUER KEKPS. Three Btopcs are in progress at No. 1 level, (ireat Harrier section, and the lode maintains its usual dimensions, the ore won being as pood as ever-it has been, in Sα. 'I level, same section. the lode is from 1 to :.' feet wide in the stopes. and the material won payable throughout. A.drive has been put in S:2 feet east from the cross-cut.. No. '1 level. This is proving new ground. There arc 200 feet or more Of backs the whole length of the (Ireat Harrier soelion. 'The lode is a compact body of stone, :i feet U inches in width, and some of the most likely-looking- stone is being" saved. In the Harrier section west, at No. .''. level, the lode is about 18 inches in thickness, and is producing- good ore. The lode in No. 2 drive west, same section, is being- stripped. The lode in the face of the main tunnel. So. 3 level, has been cut into a distance of 10 feet, but no defined hanging wall has been met with. The manager adds , : "I am pleased fo say the ore is shaping- well at the battery."
