SHAREMARKET.
Bank of New Zealand shares were asked for at 34/6 to-day, and Nationals at 74/, but sales did not follow. Other Standard lines showed no change, with the exception that 8/10 was offered for D.S.C. shares, but sellers did not quote. Mining stocks showed little alterations, generally speaking, business being- dull. Tairnn Broken Hill shares were, however, firmer, buyers offering 2/. Talisman Consolidated were wanted at 24/6, and Waihis at £8 10/.
