Among the business transacted at the Warden's Court this morniug were several residente Sides and water races which were forfeited for nonpayment of rents. The New W 7hau's application for an amalgamation of claims was adjourned. Fred. Lowrie was granted a license for a claim at Waiomo, and protection was granted to the Agnes;claim at Tapu and the Otanui Consols. Permission to work with a less number of men was granted to the New Great Barrier, Thames, Talisman, and Victory. Protection was granted to the Puriri Gold Estates, Annanias, Lucky Chance claims. The following were referred to the Minister for Mines: — Hauraki Goldfields, three months' protection; Deep Sinker Deep Level Consolidated. The amalgamation of, the Maoriiand, Kapaij* Last Chance, and Maori Daisy were consented to by the Minister of Mines. Protection was granted the Verona claim, Waiomo, and Victory.
