AUCKLAND CYCLE ROADS LEAGUE
There was :i full attendance of the lueuihers of the Council at the A.C.U.L. meeting mst night. Correspondence was read from Mr .las'. Hart (Kotorua), Mr J*. Garact (Secretary National Touring Association ot Victoria), Auckland City Council, Thames Borough Council, and Grey Lynn Borough Council. Mr Garnet asked for full information regarding tbe Cycle Boards Bill, and said that they were much Interested In Victoria. A letter of congratulation was instructed to be sent to Messrs P. Reynolds (late member of Council) and T. Clarksim (League's representative in Christchurchupon their safe arrival after their adven tures in the Otira Gorge last week. A hearty vote of ttranks was passed to the president (Mr Geo. Fowlds) for bis able address at the cycle path run on Saturday last It was deckled to have Koad Leagues formed at once in Invercargill, We lingtou, and Dunodm. for the remaining part ol the year intending members will be admitted at 1/ entrance fee and 2/ti membership fee. Croat dissatisfaction was expressed at the manner in which Queen-street is being patched up, and the secretary was instructed to write the City Council in reference to this important matter.
