WEATHER REPORT.

WELLINGTON, this day.
Wind: Generally moderate from between north-east and south-east. Barometer rise slowly everywhere, but falling after ten hours southward of Napier and New Plymouth. Sen: Moderate on both coasts.
Tides: Good on all western coast; decreasing on eastern coast northward of East Cape; moderate elsewhere. Frost probable to-night in all parts of the country southward of Thames and Manukau, and a very-cold night thence nprthward.
Synopsis of the last 24 hours: Slowly decreasing pressure northward of Kaikoura and Hokitika. Pressure has increased very slowly, in southern parts of the country. The weather has been generally fine, with a prevalenc v of westerly \vinds, and has been rather cold. Frost is reported from Opotiki and Tophouse. Low pressure from west will pass eastward of the Meridian of South Cape on the 25th,
