The New Zealand bowlers who form part of the Australasian team for England played several matches against Sydney clubs last week..
The visiting bowlers played a three-rink match at the City Green On Saturday, and were defeated by the local team by 86 points to 58. Scores:—No. 1 Rink—New Zealand: J. Dingle, J. Avery, H. Ward, J. Paul, 21. City Club: J. H. Morris, J. A. Hog-ue, "P. C. Butler, H. Harris, 30. Majority for City Rink, 9 points. No. 2 Rink—New Zealand: G. Syme, C. Jackson, Clarke, J. Bennie, 22. City Club: H. Chapman, R. Marr, B. Hale; G. H. Whittle, 26. Majority for City, 4 points. No. 3 Rink—New Zealand: Boskrudge, Hart, Reich, T. Ballinger, 15. City CKib: W. H. Goddard, J. Culler, J. Dickelison, A. Coker, 30. Majority for City Club, 15 points. • The New Zealand players visited Manly on Monday, and defeated a local team by 60 points to 36.
