WELLINGTON, this day.
Wind: Moderate from northward at all places north of Thames and Manukau; from the westward thence south to Raglan and East Cape; gale from between north-east, north and west ihence southward to Kaikoura and Hokltika; from between north-west and south-west elsewhere. Barometer: Fall everywhere, but slowly to north of East Cape, Taupo and Raglan. Sea: Heavy on all Western Coast, also on East Coast southward of Napier. Tides: High on all Western Coast and on Eastern Coast southward of Castle Point; poor elsewhere. Rain is probable southward of Napier and New Plymouth. Warning signals for northerly gales are exhibited at Capes Campbell, Foulwind, and Farewell Spit.
