WIRTH BROS' CIRCUS.
Arrangements for the initial performance of Wirth Bros.' Circus are now complete, and to-night will witness its :irst apoearanco after .-.n absence' Of many years. during which lime it n;;s travelled unwards of 100,000 units. Messrs Wirth Bros, promise Auckland?!;; a revelation in tented amusements. it would be impossible to find a belter or more central site than the one chofon on the reclaimed land at Freeman s Bay. which has undergone great improvement during the past few months. Sneaking of the performance the dago "Daily Times" says:—"The show proved to be -a modern and up-to-date circus. The whole of the items on the programme were of st.en genuine merit that they miehl reasonably be called specialties w'niist several ol them are novelties not'possessed by any oiber circus in the world." To-night's pi.iforimincc commences at ci_nt o'clock sharp. Afternoon performances will be given every day next week.
