MISTERS' MOVEMENTS.

The Hon. T. Y. Duncan, Minister for Lands, arrived in Auckland last evening. Last night a deputation was introduced by Mr R. Monk, M.H.R., who wished Mr Duncan to visit the Great North Road, with a view to having to put it in a

state of repair. Tlie Minister promised to inspect the road on his return from the North if time permitted. Mr Duncan left for the North at seven o'clock this morning, travelling from the North Shore to Warkworth. Thence he proceeds to Whangarei, to meet Mr Thompson, M.H.E., and will then visit the Kaipara, returning to Auckland via, Helensville, being absent about ten days.
