KAURI GUM MARKET.
AUC XL AND, Wedn e?da y. The kauri gum market is in such a disorganised condition at the present time owing to the absence of demand for shipment to London, that it is practically useless to try and give quotations lo indicate the ruling price. Stocks of gum are steadily j accumulating, and in some instances ; holders are offering to quit at a con-1 siderable reduction. In other cases! holders of good lines are content to i wait for full prices. Meanwhile the j London market is so overstocked that | there is no inducement to ship gum at what are called current quotations, which nominally are as follows: — l'oor ordinary £35 to £42 Fair ordinary £45 to £50 t Good ordinary £52 to £82 Superior ordinary £70 to £H0 East Coast £75 upwards
