A GHOST SCARE.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
WELLINGTON, this day,
Ghost scares have been frequent here of late. A lad residing at Brooklyn was charged in the Magistrate's Court to-day with being an idle and' disorderly person, in that he had on him an article of disguise at Brooklyn on the 18th inst. It appeared the defendant had frightened women who were going home at night by putting a white tablecloth on a fence post, and also wearing it himself. Dr. Me Arthur, S.M., delivered a severe homily to the defendant, and dismissed the information.
