SATURDAY'S GATHERING.
A EECOKD FUNCTION
Aucklanders have never witnessed such a crowd as assembled in the Domain on Saturday. The country provided its thousands, aud the city its tens of thousands. In all 40,000 is by no moans an excessive estimate of the number present. Some people believe that the attendance did not fall short of 50,000. The crowd, the soldiers, am? the manoeuvres lent themselves particularly well to photographic treatment, ami.the artists aud photographers of the "Graphic" secured such an admirable series of views that_ this week's number of that journal will be the finest souvenir of the occasion obtainable. Lately the "Graphic-' has put up several records, but this number will undoubtedly surpass previous achievements. As difficulty is anticipated in fulfilling orders those desirous of obtaining an early copy should make application at once.
