SHAREMARKET.
Waitekauri shares recovered a little in price to-day, sales being made at 23/ and 23/6, with further buyers at 21/, aud no sellers under 24/. Talisman Consolidated shares had demand at 23/, but holders asked 25/. Crowns were in request at 12/9, Chelmsfords at 3/1, and Whangamata Corporation shares at 3/9. Waihi stocks were neglected, being offered at lower rates. In standard lines, Bank ot New Zealand shares were wanted at 31/ Devonport Ferry sold at 37/, and D.S.C. shares at 8/9. Other lines were unaltered.
