Williams was the preacher, and in the course of his sermon paid an eloquent tribute praise to our late departed Queen. He pointed out that nearly 400,000,000 of those under the British | flag were mourning the loss of the | greatest, the longest-lived, and longest- | reigned monarch that ever occupied I England's throne, and throughout the I world, in every land, sadness and sor- | row was the expression of millions of P hearts. What made the people and ithe nation mourn was not merely that; la Queen was dead* but that the noblest, land best of women, whose goodness I of heart had won sympathy and love s everywhere, had gone to her eternal I reward.
