]>y-Law Cases. —Alexander Stewart plqaded guilty to negligent driving at Northcote, and was ned 5/ and costs. —Isaiah Stainton, charged with being the owner of a dog, which attacked a horse driven by Henry Is. Tanner, was dismissed with" a caution to keep the dog under proper control in fu-tui-e. IJ
Alleged Murder.—The Maori Rawiri Taua, who was remanded to Mercer on a charge of murdering his' wife, was now, by arrangement between parties, remanded to apepar at Auckland next Friday. Mr. Theo. Cooper appeared for the defence.
