KERSHAW THE ILLUSIONIST.

and it was quite evident the audience thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment. Various card tricks were dexterously played, and "A Wizard's Supper" mystified the audience, as dainty food was apparently produced from nothing. Bouquets and pot-plants were made to appear from underneatn a hat, and the flags 'of all nations were finally produced. Kershaw also played tricks with ball and paper cones, rings, watches, and ultimately went in for wine making on the stage. The illusions were well performed handkerchiefs being produced from the centre of. a candle, cannon balls and wearing- apparel coming by magic from inside a hat. Mr H. T. .Garrott gave a lightning sketch in four minutes, duplicating a landscape. He also appeared in the musical specialty, playing wellknown airs on a variety of instruments.
