Development work in the Waihi Gladstone mine continues to give improved results. At the 200 feet level the reef has now been driven upon for a distance of .'.'o feet, and proved to be encased in good solid country. The lode is over (hv- feet in width, and so far the hanging-wall portion has not been reached. Tho course of the reef is making right through the Glad-! stone property, and the ore is of high grade.
