Requiem mass was said over the remains at St. Coleman's Eoman Catholic Church, by the Rev. Father Egan, who also conducted the burial service. Many floral tributes were received by the family from all parts of the district, testifying to the general esteem in which the late Mr McGuire was held.

The monthly meeting of the Wesleyan Band of Hope was held in the Wesleyan Church last evening, there being a large attendance, Mr B. B. Johnson presiding.
