XKLSON, this day

An accident of n somewhat serious nature pecurred in front ol' .the Custom House yesterday afternoon. A

palace cat, containing about 20 passengers, was attempting! to pass an* other, when the wheels became

blocked in the tram-line, and the car

was overturned. Several of the passengers were considerably shaken. Mr Charles Larkins received a cut in the neck, and is much bruised about the body, and the doctor cannot say yet whether or not- his ribs are broken. Miss Low, a visitor from Wellington, had her ankle sprained, and others were less severely hurt.
