RETURNING NEW ZEALANDERS.

WELLINGTON, this day
Through the Deputy-Governor, the acting-Premier has cabled to the ad^ miral of the Australian station, asking whether H.M.S. Mildura, now at Akaroa, can be at Port Chalmers when the Orient reaches there with the New Zealand returning troopers.
