The following eases were dealt with; —Drunkenness: Three first offenders were convicted and discharged, and one fined 5/. Threatening behaviour: George Lunie and John Jas. Speight were convicted and discharged. .Robert Clementson, a negro, was charged with having played a game of chance on board the p.s. Wakatera, and was convicted and discharged.
