Mr Dimant is expected to give' an address. A watchnight service is also announced at^the Central Mission,, commencing at 9,30 on New Year's Eve. Sub-Inspector Wilson,, of the Auckland police force, is to be transferred to Wellington shortly. His place will be taken by Sub-Inspector Mitchell, of Wellington.
