MR DOOLEY ON ELECTIONS.
Colonel Roosevelt, the Republican candidate for the Vice-Presidency of the iU.S.A., toured the "wild and woolly iWest".'in his rough-rider suit speechmaking in the interests of the Republican party. It' was a sort of "khaki" election on his part—"every vote given to Bryan is a vote given to Agulnaldo," and bo on. Meanwhile, Mr DooTey, the Chicago saloonkeeper, makes good fun of Colonel Roosevelt's meteoric flights. The local papers' reports of the Roosevelt meetings are thus paraphrased by Dooley:—"At this moment Gov-nor Kosenfelt bit his way through th' throng, an' afther bringing down with a well-aimed shot th' chairman iv th' dimmycratic
