REITFONTEIN AFFAIR.
COLONIAL CASUALTIES.
ADELAIDE, this day.
The Government has been advised that Sergeant McCabe and Private Page were killed in the battle of Reitfontein. LONDON, December 9. Sergt. B. E. Smith, of the New Zealanders, who was among the wounded at Reitfontein, has since succumbed to his wounds.

The Premier has. through His Excellency, received the following, dated London, December S, from Lord Onslow: —"Please convey hearty congratulations to your Ministers and the people of: Xew Zealand, on the gallantry displayed by Xew Zealand contingent at 1-ietfontein."
