Saturday afternoon's senior matches were suspended after 90 minutes' play owing to the rain. Old Boys scored 108 in their second innings (Cole 20, McGowan 10, extras 37). * Midland scored the two runs necessary to win for the loss of no wickets. For Midland. Upham (6 for 35), Moldsworth (3 for 18), did the damage In the bowling line. When the game was interrupted Wellington had registered 213 for the loss of three wickets against Phoenix (Weybourne 75, Richardson 53, Gore, not out, 42, Duncan, not out, 22). There will be no senior matches next Saturday owing to the amateur athletic meeting.
