At the Warden's Court this morning Sir E. S. Biish, S.M., dealt witli the following applications: —

Tie Warden intimated that at the expiration,of this concession, if tributers would not take up blocks in the mine the company would have to put on wages men. M. A. Plaints: Inspector of Mines v. James Eeid,- for forfeiture of water r<lce, Hirbmongo, forfeituredecreed. The Minister of Mines consented to the granting to the Golden Belt Gold Mining Co. six months' protection for machinery site and two water races at freavesville, as from the 4th September. The Thames Hauraki Gottffielcts; Lid., application for si* months' projection for: the Queen of Beauty Intended, Deep Sinker, and Deep Levels Consolidated special claims, Thames;, was opposed by the May Qneen of Haitfjiki, Ltd.
