AUCKLAND CYCLING CLUB.

The Managing Committee of the Auckland Cycling- Club met last evening in the Club's rooms, Upper Pitt-street, Mr A. S. White (Captain); in the chair. Mr Leonard Marshall offered three medals (gold, silver and bronze), and it was decided1 to except the gift with thanks, and to allot the medals for a mile amateur scratch race, entry to be free. It Wds decided to supply .officials from the Club to manage the meeting on November 9th, on the Northern Company's new banked track at Waiheke. The Club's opening rim was fixed for Saturday, October 20th, the route to be from Ponsonby .Reservoir, to tfie ,sports-ground at Otahuhu. This will give those taking, part an opportunity of seeing the sports at Otahuhu on that day. ■ ; ■..■:'
