TSie Union Steamship Company's new steamship Kotuku, bound *to Sydney, has passed Wilson's Promontory. 'She Reported "all well."
[The Kotuku was purchased in England to replace the t Kajkapo, wrecked at Symon's Bay, Cape Col-, ony, while on the voyage from' London to Sydney. The Kotuku, which changed hands while on the stocks^-; is a similar vessel to the one lost* She is' intended for the trade be-v tween Sydney and Tasmania. She isa steel screw steamer of 1055 gross and 709 net tons, and was built by Messrs Russell and Co., of Greenock,; her dimensions .being—length 225.3 feet, beam 34.2 feet, and depth of .hold 14 feet. The Kofuk-u left Glasgow on June 23, and called at Capetown, sailing for Sydney on July 31.] ' ,
