WANGANUI V. THAMES

The members of the Wanganui representative football team arrived by the Gairloch yesterday afternoou from New Plymouth, and left by the Wakatere for the Thames shortly after their arrival in Auckland. Mr Niccol (secretary of the Thames Rugby Union) was in town to receive the team. The visitors meet the Thames representatives at Parawa-i to-morrow, and on Saturday they will try conclusions with the Auckland representatives at Epsom. The team is as follows: —Full-back, TaKarangi; three-quarters, McDonnell, Robinson, McGregor; five-eighths, Steedman; half, Shannon; wings, Montgomery a,nd Franklin; forwards, M,_tch|ell_ Malone, Moss, B. Symes, T. Bell, Blair, and Symes. J. Morton and Tregear will play against Auckland, and Lecren and J. McLean probably against Taranaki.
