BLENHEIM, this day
Holmdale, a large residence occupied by Mr Reid, manager of the Loan and Mercantile Company, was destroyed by fire this morning. The tire is supposed to" have originated, from the range service. The insurance on the building (owned by a Mr Munro) is £700 in Phoenix ; furniture, £300-in the New Zealand. Part of the furniture was .saved, but Air Reid's loss is considerable.
