THE METROPOLITAN STAKES.
The Australian Jockey Club Spring Meeting will be advanced another stage on Tuesday next, when the time honoured Metropollttan Stakes' will be contested. The running this afternoon at Randwick may reveal the winner, but a pair wlio read with capital prospects are Ace of Diamonds and Barbarossa. The following horses are left in the event:—
