CRICKET.

ST. ALBAN'S CLUB

The annual meeting of the St. Alban's Cricket Club was held last evening in the clubroom, Symonds-street. There was a large attendance of members. Mr Geo. Tutt, vice-president, oceuijied the chair. The balance-sheet showed the club to be; in a sound financial condition, the receipts being £24 IG/3, and the expenditure £23 1/4, leaving in hand £1 14/11. The following officers were elected a second time to their respective positions:—President, Mr J J. Holland; vice-presidents, Messrs Geo Tutt, T. Reid, J. Foster, F. Ballin, I. Moses, and W. H. Philip; captain, Mr B. Blakey; vice-captain, Mr Ay Wilson; secretary and treasurer, Mr W. E. Smytheman; assistant-secre-tary, Mr C. Hewson; delegate to Association, Mr R. A. Miles; auditor, Mr G Tutt. During the evening Mr Tutt presented the trophies competed for during the season. Mr Jos. Roberts won the trophy presented by Reid Bros, for the best batting average in "A" team, with an average of 13.36. In the bowling the trophy presented by Mr Tutt was won by a Wilson with an average of 6.12 for 39 wickets. In the "B" team Mr Gunn won the trophy presented by Mr F. Ballin for highest individual score, and Mr J. Gordon won Mr Moses' trophy for best bowling with an average of 6.50 for 23 wickets. I A vote of thanks was passed to all those who had by their efforts helped to make I the club a success, and to those gentle-

men who had so kindly donated trophies' for competition.

The Auckland Cricket Club hold their annual meeting to-night at the Amateur Sports' Club, Durham-street. On Monday evening the North Shore Club will hold their annual meeting at the Devonport Council Chambers.
