OKOROIRE.
The annual meeting of the Okorolre Jockey Club was held ou Saturday night. Mr Harrison occupied the chair. The following officers were elected for tho ensuing year:— President, Mr W. H. Herries, M.H.R.; vicepresident, Mr John McCaw; judge, Mr M. Harrison; secretary, Mr C. G. Blake; treasurer, Mr Jas. Callaghan; starter, Mr R. Alexander; handicapper, Mr A. btorey, clerk of scales, Mr D. Goodwin; committee, Messrs G. Mahood, Thos Freeman, P. Turnbull, E. Smith, A. McDonald, E. Butcher, J. Moore. L. Callaghan, W. Fitzgerald, A. Stanley, W. Mulcahy. Geo. Kohlas. E. Averill, and J. .Strong. The report and balance-sheet showing a credit balance of £2G 8/4 was received and adopted. It was decided to hold the annual race meeting on December 24, and the programme was then drawn up.
