KING'S COLLEGE OLD BOYS' ASSOCIATION.
The organisers of the Old Boys' Association in connection with King's College, Remuera, met at Waters' social rooms, Queen-street, on Saturday evening. There was a large attendance, and most promising enthusiasm wis shown. The objects of the Association are:—l. The promotion of good-fellowship among old boys of Kings College, and the maintenance of their Interest In the school. 2. The promotion of the interests of King's College by offering scholarships and prizes for proficiency exhibited both at the school examinations and at the school sports, or by any-other means that may be decided upon at a general meeting of the association. 3. The formation of a roll of old boys, and the compilation of a history of the .school. 4. The -iganisation of schemes of asslstance.monetary or otherwise, to old boys who may require the same. 5. The celebration of the anniversary of the foundation of the- school in every year. Utiles were framed and officers elected. Afterwards the following musical programme was gone through:—Pianoforte solo, Mr .*. inkelnfan: recitation, "The Mao from Snowy River," Mr Malcolmson Eoult; "Medley" on guitars, Messrs Partridge find Macfarlane; song, "Soldiers of the Queen," Professor Cavrollo: recitation. "That Little Word Dm," Mr Malcolmson Bonlt: song, "The Whistling Coon," Mr liichardson; song, "I Went With Him," Professor Carrollo. The toasts honoured were- "The Queen," "The Association," "School and Masters." "The Press," "The Reformers," and "Absent Old Boys," and "Auld Lang Syne" brought the evening to ft close.
