SHAREMARKET.
Bank of New Zealand shares continue to advance in price, buyers to-day offering 10/, as against 5/ a fortnight a°-o. River Plate shares were a little firmer, 18/6 being- offered. New Zealand Accident Insurance were again wanted at 23/ G. and Devonport Ferry shares at 35/0. Avondale Brick and Tile shares were also enquired for at JO/4. Northern Steam shares changed hands at 6/8. Mining- stocks were practically without change.
