■■A very enjoyablo social In connection with St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church was held last evening. There was a representative attendance. The Rev. T. A. Norrls presided. Vocal and Instrumental items were contributed by Mesdames Inglls and Grey, Misses McDonald, Clymo, Ross, Fraser, and King, Messrs Walker,; Taylor, and Buchan; recitations by Miss'A. McGregor, Messrs Bower and Pitkethly; dialogue by Misses Ross and Pitkethly. Addresses were delivered by Revs. Mitchell and Norrls. The acompauiments were played by Misses Fraser and Collier. Refreshments were passed round; The Coromandel County Council have accepted Mr James McGuire's tender of £175 for extension of Wharf Road. w
