WELLINGTON, this day.
Another meeting of citizens and members of Parliament was held today in connection with the Mount Cook University site movement. A petition was adopted for presentation to Parliament,' and it was decided, to circulate copies of it throughout the middle district for signature. Mr Hogg stated that a meeting of members of parliament for the middle districi, held recently, was attended by six. from each i chamber, while it was known several more were in favour ol the movement. The meeting unanl-1 mously adopted the following -resolution, "That the members of the Legls-. lature present representing the'middle district consider the Government should, without delay, set apart a site for Victoria College University, and affirm the opinion that the most eligible site is Mount Cook."
