N.Z. INANIMATE PIGEON SHOOTING ASSOCIATION.
A team's match for a silver teapot presented by the proprietors of the "New Zealand -Herald" was held on Saturday afternoon, at the N.Z. Inanimate Pigeonshooting Association's Grounds, Epsom. The teams consisted of five men each, and each man was allowed to fire at 30 birds, the possible score for any team being thus 160. The match was won by the Northern Gun Club's No. 1 Team, by a margin of 6 points. The" highest aggregate scorer, Dr. Owen, was awarded a handsome silver match box, manufactured at. the Colonial Ammunition Co.'s works from Great Barrier silver, and presented by Mr A. C. Whitney.
