SHAREMARKET.
A line of fifty Colonial Sugar Company's shares changed , hands to-day at £40 12/ each, and there was further demand at £40, but no sellers quoted. South British Insurance shares were wanted at 63/, and New Zealands at 61/. Gisborne Gas shares nrmecl slightly, being wanted at 38/6 cum div. D.S.C. shares were also better, buyers offering 8/G, but sellers then asked 9/. Oth'ei' stocks were unaltered, mining shares meeting with but little inquiry at late rates. , . .
