TRIAL MATCH TO-MORROW.
The two trial teams chosen by Mr J. Arnell, ,the Rugby Union selector, will meet to-morrow afternoon at Potter's Paddock, when a good game should.be witnessed, as on the result of this match the team to meet Wellington next we-sk will be chosen. Additional interest also attaches to the match owing to the presence of several country members in the teams. The two trial teams are as under:
No. 1 team.—Full-back, Upton; threequarters, McPlke (Waikato), Woods, and Sutherland; five - eighths, O. Riley (Thames); half, Young; forwards, Cunningham ' (Thames), Clarkin (Waihi), Christiansen (N. Wairoa), McMillan, Gillett (Waikato), McCluskie, and Handcock; wings, Stanaway and S. Brown. No. 2 team.—Full-back, Donovan; thrcequartera, Absolum, D. Hay, Harrison (Northern Wairoa); five-eighths, Asher; half, Kiernan; forwards, Brady, Irvine, A. Wilson, H. Wilson, McGregor, Bonella and Tyler; wings, Gallagher and Doran. Emergencies: Backs, McGee, Taylor, Gray, Stevens; forwards, Wooler, Eaton, Scott, and Cucksey. R. McGregor, the Thames three-quarter, will be unable to take part in the match owing to an injury to his foot.
