General Buller is twenty miles south of Wonderfontein, a station on the Delagoa Bay line of rail, 15 miles east Of Middleburg, and 20 west of Machadodorp. His advance since scattering in the vicinity of Amersfoort the commando led by one of the Bothas, has been practically -unopposed by the enemy. Some 800 Boers, with six guns, are at Lake Chrissie.
The recent surrenders in the Standerton district, have crushed the opposition in the Southeastern Transvaal.'- ■" . • ' :}':■'" :'A
General Buller is in touch with General French's scouts.
Commandant Ollivier, who escaped with a small cdminando "when Generals Hunter and Bundle captured Prinsloo and 4000 Boers in the east of the late Free State,'is now near Heilbron, some 15 miles from the Transvaal border. ,;
