NEW BUILDING IN WELLINGTON.,

WELLINGTON, this day. Owing to the want of accommoda" - tion. for the Railway Department in the big wooden building, the Government have decided to erect special offices near the station and at the back of Government Buildings. The block will be 236 feet long and 48 feet wide, - three storeys lug, built of brick and Oamaru stone. Inside plaster and steel will be used, and make it a» ■nearly fireproof as possible. The Minister and managers will take up their quarters in the new. building as soqh- ; as it is erected, ~. j
