DEATH FROM CANCER

LONDON, August 3

The disease which occasioned the death of the Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha was cancer at the base of the tongue. The sufferer virtually died of suffocation.

The youthful Duke of Albany, who succeeds, was* with his mother at 'a watering place in the island of Rugeu, Prussia, when the Prince expired.
