In cheaper stocks Chelmsfords were wanted at 11-} d and I'unker'.s Hills sold at 7d. Standard stocks had fair demand. Buyers came in for Auckland Gas (old issue) at £13 2/0. The shares offered by tender by the Gas Company were allotted nt an average of £13 1/4. Applications are invited for another 115, still for sale by the Company, the minimum price being fixed at the above average. NewZealand Insurance, shares had buyers tit H~/. and Nationals at 18/3. Gisborne Gas firmed slightly, being in demand at 3S/. Other • lines were unaltered.
