NEW PLYMOUTH, this day.
The Union: Steamship Company advise that substantial reduction in coastal freights from this port will take place from August first, combined with htlrbour and railway reductions. This will make a large concession. Mr Percy Smith, Surveyor-General, has purchased property, here with the intention of residing.
