Hides: During the month prices have fallen in sympathy with other markets. At each weekly sale large catalogues have been offered. At Tuesday's sale picked ox sold to 6id; extra stout, 4^d to sd; stout, 4Jd to 4|d; medium and light, 3£d to 3iid; cow, best lines, 3j[d; good, 3gd to 3Jd; seconds, 2Jd to 3d; caif, well flayed, 5d to 5Jd; cut, 2cl to 3d; yearlings, aid to 4d; kip, 4d to 4Jd; stags, 2d to 2Jd; damaged of all classes, nominal. • Sheepskins: Green and salted, large, 3/6 to 3/8; medium, 3/; small, 2/ to 2/3; dry. large, 3/ to 3/3; ordinary, 2/3 to 2/6; pelts 2d to 1/ each.
Tallow: Good demand in shipment lines. Mixed, £18 10/ to £19 10/; broken casks and packages, £17 10/ to £18; mutton, £21 to £22 per ton; rough fat, Id to ljd per Ib. Bones: Best dry, £5; wet, £3 10/ to £4 per ton. Hair: Horse tail, 1/2 to 1/3 per lb; cow tails, 2/ to 2/3 per dozen.
